To be fair, it’s their system. Admitting it’s flawed wouldn’t be in their best interest. The dissertation linked earlier, has some valid point it looks like, but I couldn’t wade through it far enough to really get a hold of what their proof is.

The world rankings were adjusted after tiger half the number one spot, the first time. They were adjusted so that non pga tour events had some weight. This would allow euro tour players a chance at gaining serious points over seas.

Now that he is no longer hoarding the number one spot they need to revisit them and adjust.

Not this thread isn’t about OWGR. It about DJ and how good he is. We had this conversation while at the PGA show. If DJ has his A game, he can’t be beat. When the length and accuracy, wedges and putting are n point, he won’t be beat by any current player on their A game.
