Forum Downtime Notice

Its fixed now

Oh no! What will I do??? Lol

Oh no....

Please say Gate is not your host, last time they did an extended maintenance it resulted in a 3 day outage.

Gate is not our host.

Our host has to physically shut down the box and then move it to their shiny new datacenter.

Sounds like a good time to catch up on some reading, I've got stacked up.

Thanks for the heads up.

Please tell me they're not powering down by pulling the power. :D

That would be a horrible plan. They'll just push and hold the power button for 4 seconds. :bulgy-eyes:

They would _never_, in frustration nor glee!! :alien:

Just a tip since they are moving to a new datacenter, if you are having trouble accessing THP after the down time has ended.

Open a command prompt window and enter the following

ipconfig /flushdns

May as well wipe and reinstall. :bulgy-eyes: :act-up:

I just got word that our server will be migrating tonight. The expected downtime is 3AM to 5AM CST.

Our server will be gracefully powered down before being migrated.

Everything should come back up on it's own just fine.

See and we were having fun imagining the data center guys just yanking wires and whatnot.

Thanks for the heads up!!!
