This is my first post so here goes!
Okay so I've been golfing for about a month now. I am a pretty fast learner and I started shooting a 149 on a par 72. I go down consistently every week and this week I finally shot under 100 and got a 97. I also got my first birdie this weekend! !!! I seem to be hitting greens and sinking putts pretty well... sometimes. About 2/3 of the time I hit the ball and it goes straight and usually right where I want it. I might miss judge it and grab the wrong club but I hit it well. I can live with that. But my major problem seems to be that I'll make a good drive then my approach shots I seem to top the ball and it goes 20 yards. I get frustrated and just walk up with the same club and then hit the green or do exactly what I wanted to do before. I guess my question is how do you hit it consistently. I can hit it where I want when I hit it right it just seems I never know if I'm going to hit it right. Also on the drive I hit it pretty far and straight but then a couple holes I'll fall apart. Is it just part of it or what??? I practice almost everyday and hit the driving range at least every other day. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas to be consistent. Thanks in advance!!!
