How Long Is Your Home Course?

My course: (I play the white)

Blue - 6656, White - 6262, Red - 5718, Yellow - 5413, Gold - 4268

6689 from the tees we regularly play.

7008yds from the tips is where I usually play.

Black Tees: 7107
Blue: 6682
White: 6267

I've never once even tried to play from the Black tees. That would bring a > 600 yard par 5 and multiple > 470 yard par 4's into play, which is impossibly long for me. I mostly play the whites and occasionally mix in a round from the blues.

right at 6000 from the whites

Tips are 6700. I play the blues at 6400.

Most play a course or two in their area predominantly, so my question is how long is it and how far do you play it from?

Mine plays 6,921 from the back tees, although I usually play the 6,600 tees with everyone. In the winter we'll often move up to the combos which are around 6,350 and I enjoy that as well. Nice mix.

The course I play at predominantly is 7071 total and I play at about 6285 most of the time

Home course is a par 70 that plays 6440 yards from the back tees, which is where I play from. Whites are at 6096 yards on that course, and there's honestly not much difference between the whites and the back tees on most holes.

the 4 county courses I split my play at and play (90%) of my golf are. 7049, 6964, 7011, 6953 from the Blues.
. But I play them all at one set up at 6456, 6321, 6377, 6374

So they are all fairly similar enough yardage wise and also rating/slope wise too yet they all have their own character and are indeed significantly different to play. And also look very different. It creates a good mix of golf imo even though all at pretty much the same yardage.

The course I frequent the most I play at 6755 yards and the longest par 3 is 205 yards.

5633m so about 6150 yards. Most of our par 3's are 210 yards though. No short ones unless they go right to the front tee on one which would make it 100. Never happens in comp.

No home course, but I jump around the same group of courses often. They usually range from 6700-7000.

I do this as well, I typically play from 6,200-6,600

Darlington CC

Tee Par Yardage Slope Rating

Blue 72 6342 122 70.4
Red 72 5186 108 67.9
White 72 5668 116 67.5
Gold 72 5299 112 65.9

I usually play the whites. Not a long course but the greens are about the smallest you'll see around this area. Most of the extra yardage on the blues come from only a handful of holes.

6,479 from the tees typically played

Right around 6400 and 6900 from the blues and blacks at most of the courses around me. We switch up the tees depending on weather and time of the year. Only a handful in the area are over 7000

Not long. I think the tips play at 6300-6400. It's narrow on most of the holes and there is some target golf required on a few par 4's.

My home course is ...

White - 6429
Blue - 6874

I play from either tee depending on who I play with.

I believe the blacks (tips) are just under 6900, the blues are ~6500, and the whites 6100. I usually switch between the blues and whites depending on who I'm playing with. By myself I usually play the blues.

From the tips is 6800 from the whites is 6550.

Two courses at my home club. The Lake course is the easier and shorter at 6,826 from the tips. The Mountain course is longer and tougher at 7,036 from the tips (black tees).

I've played the front nine of Lake from the tips a couple of times when playing 9 holes. Never attempted any of the others from back there. Too long for me these days.

I typically play from the Gold or Blue tees. Mostly Blue these days.
Lake: 6,486 Gold; 6,159 Blue
MTN: 6,546 Gold; 6,045 Blue
