How many drivers have you owned?

Callaway great big Bertha, something I got from a golf league buddy, taylormade r11s. Not too many.

I would like to exercise my 5th amendment right to not answer the question on the grounds that any information I give may be used against me......

5 but I am pretty rough on my drivers. i go through one a year it seems like. That's the reason I use practice drivers at the range.

And I like to look at all boobs but some are way better than others.

Can't remember all of them, but I've got 4 I can remember.

Burner bubble titanium
R7 quad TP
R7 460
R1

That's it unless you add in the dunlop driver from a box set I had.

I can't remember all I have had over the years. I have three now, acutely four if you count the one my Dad gave me Sunday that I left over at his house just in case he changed his mind. The one he is playing may turn on him and he may need a backup.lol

I have never, and never will, get this obsession with constantly changing clubs, but that is just me

And before anyone jumps on that comment, I have no problem with people spending their money how they want

For me, it is a total of 4

Back when I was a kid I had a Persimmon wooden driver
Then a starter set when I eventually took up playing again
Cleveland Classic XL
Callaway Great Big Bertha (current driver)

For me, I just like to have a backup driver just in case the current gamer starts to misbehave. I've never had more than 2 drivers at once. I've always sold the others and put that $ towards the new purchase so it doesn't sting as bad, lol.

I am assuming from the bolded that you are talking about not hitting the shot you expect to see.....nothing to do with the club

It always amuses me when people buy new clubs to try and fix a swing problem rather than fixing the cause

By that I meant, sometimes a club gets uncomfortable in your hands (for me at least), so it's nice to have something that you can trust as a backup. "Nothing to do with the club?" Oh, cool, thanks :bulgy-eyes:

Maybe I made an assumption, but a lot of the time when people talk about clubs misbehaving it infers that they aren't swinging well so look to a new club to try and fix a problem. If you had worded your earlier post like this one I am quoting I wouldn't have said that it wasn't the club that is the problem as stating that a club feels uncomfortable in your hands is nothing like, to me, a club misbehaving

10 drivers .... i am little bit eccentric, I often have two identicals.

I guess I'm just cheap because I really haven't bought many drivers. But great idea for a thread, as it sure is fun to reflect back on some of the old ones.
My first 2 were persimmon; a Macgregor Tourney and a Power Built Citation. I wish I still had them, they were beautiful.
Next came a tiny steel headed Dunlop with a steel shaft. I don't recall the model. It's long gone too.
--I still have the rest of these--
A Callaway Great Big Bertha Warbird (hand me down from a cousin)
Then a long shafted big headed knockoff: Pro Select Prism (hand me down from same cousin)
--I do wish Kang was my cousin, I'd have owned more drivers--
