How many drivers have you owned?

Reading this thread.....I'm a bit surprised. I thought someone was going to say something to the effect of..

Eh....drivers, they're all just about the same anyway.

I have 27 or 28 in the collection now. Maybe 10 others that I don't own anymore. I'm hopefully will have only my 6th iron set in the last 36 years later this week.
 
boy, that will test the memory banks.

i don't remember what the very first driver i had was. at some point i bought the burner bubble, then the head snapped off and tm sent me a replacement, i think it was the r580 but i don't recall. then it was the r7 quad, then a cobra z something or other, then a short-lived burner superfast, then a callaway ft-3, then an r-1, and now my beloved bstone j815. so all in all i think it's around 9 or 10 in 17 years.
 
too many to remember and none of them was worthy until I bought my Cobra Flyz+

At least 30 and that may be low!
 
In the 40 years of playing this game, I would guess I have had a dozen. But...I have had only 2 in the last 5 years.

I still own my first and last driver. All the rest I forget.

Dunlop LoCo was my favorite.

There have been way too many to list. I must have owned a dozen persimmon drivers alone before Taylor Made changed golf forever. I still own a Louisville, a vintage McGregor Eye-o-matic and a custom made one I bought on a vacation once. I have owned at least 3 dozen drivers since my first metal one.
 
3 Callaway, 6 Taylormade, 4 Ping, 3 Adams, 2 Integra. Still have most of them except for the Integra's,

Jeez! …and I thought I was bad with all my TaylorMade drivers. Some of you guys make me look sane, lol.

I forgot a couple drivers, too. When I was a kid, I had a Chi Chi Rodriguez signature Northwestern persimmon and a Golden Ram persimmon. My first metal driver was part of a Dunlop Driver-3w-5w w/graphite shafts set I got from K-Mart to go with my dads hand me down irons my Freshman year in High School. Shortly after that is when the madness started for me.
