We will be on island August 7-13 staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. I'd like to get in 3, maybe 4, rounds.

If you've played them, how are the Beach and Kings courses on property? What else is nearby that is can't miss or shouldn't miss? Which ones are not worth the fee? Is there a tee time service that has good/decent deals?

Thanks.

I'd follow @Drumdog's advice. Unless you can get on Nanea, of course.

I agree with this. I'd also rank them Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, Hapuna. Hapuna Beach is also a must-do and is only about 8 miles up the coast from the Hilton where you are staying.

BTW, we have a family vacation at the same time(8/7-8/15) but we will be on Oahu.

Think we just need a Golf in Hawaii thread! Headed to Hilton Waikoloa Village in June but only for a few days so won't be any golf.

Another vote for Mauna Kea (incredible views) and Hapuna.

Given what’s happening, this trip probably will not happen. ☹

Incredible view!
The only “Island” I ever played was Bermuda. And that was incredible!
hilly, beautiful, lush. Loved it. It was my (our) honeymoon
