We've gone from just relying on the yardage markers for distance at 150 yards to just "eyeballing" 60 yard shots. To say the argument that they have in here is similar to the NFLs and deflategate would be accurate.

I can play 18 by myself and laser every shot other then drives and chips/putts and still finish in 2 hours.

Rangefinder isnt the issue.

Man, I really want to get a range finder to help me since I no jack all about choosing clubs or distance reading...but now I'm afraid I'll get one and my first time on the course golfinnut is gonna be behind me and run up and beat me with my new driver which wont get replaced cause it will be broke in the middle and I'll be out all this money and have to go face my wife with one black eye. Sure to have another after I tell her howmuch the smashed driver and range finder ACTUALLY cost.

This is not good.

Actually, beating you with a wedge featuring a low angled, wide bounce would be more efficient. It would quickly open a wound (like a hack going through balls on a water hole) and then open the wound further shortly after penetration. You probably wouldn't feel much, even if he took a Mulligan.

Hardly. Thats being able to quickly know the distance, pull the club and swing.

It's not that complicated. Some people have different methods and thats fine as well. If you are so aggravated by other players I wonder why you bother playing at all.

I know it's not complicated ... that's why I like playing fast. Where I play you are lucky if you can get in 9 holes in 2 hours. Maybe I should move to AZ? Make sure to bring my range finder

Luckily for us we have great Mods here at THP and the few trolls that try to pop up are promptly escorted to their bridges.
