I really kind of thought it was going to be a waste of 30 bucks to get the yearly statewide fee, but I am actually really enjoying having the GPS as my primary distance layer.
I've had a couple of my local buddies in the cart working through it with me, and both have found it incredibly helpful, as regular rangefinder guys. I like to call it 'aiming for a circle' - and I really love being able to visualize a tee shot using it as well.
Been a lot of fun. Surprisingly glad I did it.
