Trying to beast an Apex Pro 4i from 253
The wrong 12 lbs wedge to 7'
And a birdie
Tried to bring a wedge in from right to left but the wind I was partly using kind of laid down.
Despite the wind literally blowing in circles, that would have been about perfect if I hadn't drifted just a tad toe side.

My phone connection has been super spotty. We are on 16 now. This is the slowest round I’ve played all year. Score isn’t terrible but I’m not playing my best. +11 but I’ve got a birdie opp coming up on this par 5.
Will upload a crap 8i on the par 3. Crossed myself up a bit. And then 3 putted. Might have lost focus there. Maybe.

Wow. That was a LONG round. Dad and I can usually get around in 3.5 to 4 hours. But he brought along 2 friends that were hitting the ball 50yds at a time. They insisted on playing off our tees despite our multiple suggestions.
So we were ‘that group’ today. It started to get in my head a bit on the back 9 and I rushed a few shots and a couple of putts I shouldn’t have.
I still had a good time and enjoyed being out there. This was only my second time playing Walden Ponds. The first time was my first round back after a 10+ years, I shot a 101 that time. Today I did a lot better and it was nice to see all the progress I’ve made in the past 5ish months.
I made a bit of a swing tweak at the range last week and was able to hit all of my clubs save driver 10-15 yards further this round. Great confidence boost but terrible for course management. I flew a good amount of greens in approach. I need to adjust for sure.
