THP Regional Rivalry - NY/NJ vs New England - Sponsored By True Temper

Or if you are looking for a name you could consider
Bad Accent Championship
Ridiculous Taxes Cup
Let's not forget Worst Drivers in America Cup lol

I just want to put it out there, that I am 100% comfortable about my Region arguing about.....beer.

Or the Chowder Championship

This. Everyone knows that New England clam chowdah is better than that Manhattan abomination :)

Ridiculous Taxes Cup or shortened to the RTC Championship has a nice ring to it...

We'll both agree that they're both better than that Genessee stuff they're talking about :)

haters, pure haters.........

toss in some down east dickering with bad beards and bad accents and bingo.........new england

After seeing what THP brings to the table in my first year and being from NJ, I can't wait. I'm in no matter what!!! Born & Raised in the Garden State!! Go Rutgers. lol

Not just because of location, but I could suggest a few ++++++ courses in Southern NJ. I'll name three, all within a 10 minute drive to Atlantic City. It would help with travel accommodations (pre-game party night before in A.C. Casino) and great golf also. Atlantic City Country Club (golf history where the term birdie was created), Seaview Marriott Bay Course (LPGA Shoprite Classic is held there every year) or Ballamor.

Looking forward to this one; I think we'll see two pretty good squads representing both sides. As far as driving goes, we're not all bad, but we're definitely inconsiderate. :alien:

You know what really Grinds my Gears about New England? Roundabouts! People do not know how to drive in those multilane Roundabouts!

Don't forget...you also have NJ on your team. Not being able to turn left in half that state is the worst thing driving I've ever encountered

Haven't done ton of NJ driving since I was like 18 and was pulled over going 72 in a 55 on the Jersey Turnpike and the officer approached the vehicle gun drawn. Avoided Jersey driving like the plague after that!

Limited Jersey driving time, but MA in particular with those Roundabouts are quite frustrating.

It took me so long to figure that out when I moved here. And jughandles are often not any better.

If cream ale is brought up one more time, I'm playing for NE...lol

Google search result: "The first traffic circle in the United States used for traffic control was Columbus Circle in New York, which opened in 1905. Traffic circles are circular or elliptical islands, with a central island 300 to 600 feet wide."

Just another reason to choose Team New England over NY
