WGC Accenture Match Play Bracket Competition (THP Style)

19/32, but winner out. Have 3/4 in the final four left though.

I can't wait to see Walker and Fowler tomorrow. Should be a good match-up.
 
18 of 32 left. However DJ, Delaet, Z Johnson gone. Hopes dashed.
 
I got 22/32 correct and still have 3 out of my final four alive including my winner. Who knows what day 2 will hold though. So many picks I was sure about were bad.

Saw a stat that this is the 5th time in the last 6 years he's exited in the first round. If I woulda known that, I would have played the percentages!

I had no idea of that stat. I picked him because he's been playing so well. This event is so unpredictable anyway. It's a crapshoot IMO.

Especially after his play this past weekend. Match play is just a different beast.

23/32 after 1st rd. Lost 0 of my finalists, ZJ is the only person from my final 4 out, ZJ also my only final 8 out, and I've got 13 of 16 sweet 16ers still in (RIP Keegan/ DJ). Think I might actually be in the lead?

Well, went 20/32 but lost my entire finals matchup (ZJ vs Poults).

Same here. 3/4 left but winner out. Great matchups tomo: Webb vs. Sneds, Ernie Els vs. Justin Rose, Rory vs. Harris English intrigues me too. And obviously Walker vs. Fowler the marquee matchup it seems.
 
I was 24/32, but since I had Zach Johnson winning I am pretty much done. I almost replaced him w/G. Mac and decided to leave the bracket the way it was. He might not have made it to the finals, but at least he got out of the 1st round.

I'm still salty that my bracket didn't save properly. Had Blixt going pretty deep when I submitted, but when I printed it today it has Keegan...wonder if the site is having issues. Other friends have mentioned this too.

Top printed immediately following submission. Bottom was printed this morning when I realize I left my first one on my desk. Didn't touch any picks whatsoever after my first submission.

I am quite new, but still, I have never heard of this Chalupa Batman :confused2:
 
I'm going to lose 8 more tomorrow automatically because of the match ups...... and then have to rely on guys playing against players that I didn't pick to pull it through to the end.

Go Jason Day!!!! You're my last chance in the final group. Too bad I didn't pick you as the winner, but it was a tough choice.
 
23 and 9. Zack Johnson, Luke Donald and Graham DeLaet really hurt. Johnson was in my semis. Donald and DeLaet were in my quarters.

I can't believe I'm tied 44 but only 5 points back, I was browsing my bracket again, I have quite a few of my sweet 16 still alive, the problem is my final four and champ are all messed up!
 
A lot closer bunching than I expected. Most at 17+.

I also just wanted to give a head's up that incomplete brackets do not qualify for the last place prize, so we doe have a few people already out of the running.
 
I don't like that big 75 in front of me.

But I do have 6 of 8 left in my Quarters, so there's that.
 
Hey I am not last so that makes me happy. Looks like the majority of us all had about equal brackets so far.
