What cigar did you smoke today?

I had a Padron Anniversary 1964 maduro Saturday evening and it was great as usual. I've tried a ton of cigars and keep coming back to Padron (1964, or 26), but even the cheaper hand rolled 3000 series are better to me than most other brands.

I also had an Oliva Serie V Melanio Meduro a few weeks ago and it was outstanding.

Had this with my Father in law and Brother In law before dinner.... Absolutely great smoke. I need to get more of these

Try putting those Thousand series's in a humidor for about a year or so and they really get good.

just had "Acid" cigars for the first time. Wow love them. Some of them are flavored. Not cheaply flavored like a blunt cigar, but really nice taste. Also just bought a "java" which I meant to smoke tonight but fell asleep on the couch, it smells really good.

Alot of avid cigar guys will knock Acid's, but they surely do taste amazing!

I'm trying to infuse my own flavors with a variety of cheap, mild cigars with Connecticut wrappers. I put (2) Cusano M1s and (2) P1s in an airtight container with 2 oz. of Creme de Cacao and some coffee grounds. After 3 weeks, there was barely any discernible flavor. I'm going to let the rest sit for 2 months and hopefully they will be more flavorful.

A Fuente Short Story. Something small but such a great taste.

This thread is killing me! I have an interview with a company coming up that prohibits tobacco use (they pay your medical benefits). Between this thread and the crown royal thread I am going to lose my mind!

I had an Alec Bradley Black Market the other day at the recommendation of the owner of a local cigar lounge and I enjoyed it.

Father in Law got me a bunch of these and they are excellent

Room 101 Big Payback Robusto. Complimented by a bourbon cocktail and sorely needed after a long week.

In like the room 101s. How is the "the big payback"?
It's the first Room 101 cigar I've had, so I can't compare to their other series, but I enjoyed it. It's definitely full bodied and bold, but has a very cool burn, light draw and good construction overall. It's got a peppery overall flavor and builds to a spicy finish. I bought a 5 pack and I'm looking forward to the other 4.

Let me know if this is working out for you. Tried doing it with some whiskey one time and I picked it up a little but not enough to make taking the time worth it. When I did it with the whiskey I would actually roll them in a very small amount of it and let them sit in the humidor with slightly lower than the typical 70% since they were already slightly wet. More so just picked the flavor up on my lips than with the smoke.

When Drew estate makes the acid line they soak the leaves in whatever they are infusing it with before they dry them. Kind of locks it in that way. Not sure how you would really get them infused otherwise.

Decent collection of rings. Anyone else collect theirs?

Here's some of mine I still have empty boxes and bags more too.

Gurkha Royal Challenge last weekend. Passed my tests - burned the whole time and was on the milder side.

I do, have yet to figure out what to do with them!

I have heard that some folks make a collage out of them and frame it. I have not seen one but it sounds like a pretty nice project that could look cool. Then you'd have to talk the wife into allowing it to be hung in the house.

I only let one stay for the 2 months. It definitely picked up the flavor, but not nearly what I was looking for. I don't know if more time would help or not...
