What cigar did you smoke today?

Monticristo #2 on the front nine and Rocky Patel on the back nine.

Anything specific? I'm sure I want something relatively mild to start.
Por laranagua is a wonderful ful flavor but mild smoke...very easy on the palate

Can't go wrong with a Rocky Patell.

Ok fellas. I'm looking to casually smoke a couple on the course here and there. I need some recommendations as I am new to cigars, still trying to learn the terminology and such.

I'm a fan of the Acid Blondie Belicoso

I'm still pretty new to cigars but this is one i've actually bought a few packs of.

I guess I'm gonna go grab some singles of the macanudo cafe, the acid blondie and maybe a tatujae. See how that plays out.

I need to grab a bigger humidor, I'd really like to build one but it just doesn't make sense to unless I get crazy with it which I'll probably do at some point

Tatuaje Red Label or Brown Labels
Tatuaje Tattoo
My Father La Flor De Las Antilles
My Father Cedros Deluxe
La Flor Dominicana Chapter One

Those are staples in my humidor

while all the cigars nightowl listed are all some of my absolute favorites if your just a casual smoker those are all full bodied and may eba little strong for the occasional smoker. Try something like Fuentes, Olivas, Rocky Patels are fairly mild to medium to start.

What about the acid blondie and macanudo cafe?

It's kind of cliché, but I think Macanudo in general is probably one of the best places for anyone wanting to get into cigars to start. Hyde Park is another good choice.

I'm not an acid fan at all but then again I don't like flavored cigars. That being said alot of cigar smokers start out with flavored or Macanudos and expand from there. If you smoke something and like it then just enjoy it. It's all about trial and no error since if you don't like something you could just put it down and move on to the next.

Ok. I picked up macanudo cafe, acid blondie, montecristo white label, and tatuaje tattoo. Gonna give these a whirl (over time of course).

I'm a huge acid fan. HUGE. One thing different is they aren't flavored, they're infused. Whole different process and they actually use top quality tobacco to make them. The acid blondie is extremely mild and a great choice for a causal smoker. They are also quite small so you don't have a huge time commitment in them. The best bang for the buck in the acid line is the Kuba Kuba. One of my all time favorite sticks and the flavors are fantastic. The Acid one may very well be the best cigar I've ever had. It's infused with 5 different wines from across the world and its unbelievable.

Dang. Wish you had posted this before I bought. Lol

First try was a big success. Montecristo White Label. Maybe a little strong for a newb like myself, but enjoyed it very much. After effects I am still getting used to. Lol.

Haha! Yeah, you get used to the lingering effects. If you need to wake yourself up, go gargle with some listerine right after you smoke

Had a Tatuaje Tattoo a couple days ago. Not bad, but kind of a let down to be honest. Not sure I'll go back to that one.

This thread sure has been quiet.

Cigar #2 of the day (I do 3-5 per day on the weekends) is a Norteño.

A little pitching and a Macanudo. I wasn't all that impressed with it. I think I may have messed up whenever I smoked a Montecristo White for my first premium cigar. High standards right off the bat.

Have any of you guys tried the CAO Amazon basin? Or CAO Columbia?
