Your opponent's ball curling to a stop on the green 3 inches directly behind yours~

Compressing an iron, with ball on its intended path.

Grabbing your 150 yard club and the ball going 150 yards straight where you wanted it.

The wonderful swish-click as your iron makes perfect contact with the ball

I’d add to this with “then they proceed to miss their putt, giving you the adjustment to make for yours.” Assuming you both are on the same stroke #.

Watching your tee shot on a par 3 land on the green giving you a chance at birdie

If there was a thread called What's Worse Than? on this one it would have to be the guy making a terrible stroke so you don't learn anything!

Sipping your beer while a decent sized group (3-6 foursomes) compares scorecards and learning you carded the only 'skin' that held up and the entire pot is yours;)

Teeing off on a mild, sunny, spring morning with nobody on the course ahead of you.

Making that final putt that clinches a win at a THP event ;)

When someone asks you what club you are hitting, then tells you that you can't get it there with it. You then proceed to hit to 5 ft.

Fairway hit on the first hole!

Yeah, gotta be a nice drive on the first tee.

Having it pour all night, then showing up at 6am on the tee box solo with no cars in the parking lot.
Time to play 2 balls and practice every shot with every club you struggle with..

Hitting a pure 6 iron and your father and two sons screaming....It went in the hole.

Dropping a 25 foot breaking putt center cup.

Your drive starting off like a frozen rope straight down the middle of the fairway and then not curving wildly out of bounds to the right.

Making perfect sweet spot contact with your driver off the first tee and watching it climb like a fighter jet and soar down the middle of the fairway.

While the entire league is watching!
