I've never bought clubs based on the loft numbers vs iron # designation. I do see where confusion comes from, some p rope do like to act like they've been duped, but frankly it doesn't matter.

There is certainly a ton if incorrect info which leads to the confusion. THP certainly does it's best to provide access to the industry to provide correct information and help cut through or sometimes help explain the marketing. Heck at several THP events this year, members had unfettered access to both marketing and R&D folks throughout the industry. They got asked all kinds of questions and were more than happy to provide answers.
