You mean after his collegiate play on sponsors exemptions, right? i don't think there is a way to gain status on Tour based on college results.
Yes, sponsor exemptions resulting in a win, though I don't remember the details...

Brian Gay???
I met him at the PGA Show one year, was there covering with THP and he was at the Sligo booth signing autographs. Great guy, but no idea where he's been lately. Injuries or something?
He came out on fire and competed in numerous events then kind of just disappeared

He's coming off an injury, shoulder I believe. The injury kept him off the tour last year and he's slowly coming back now.
I like this guy, spent some time with him after rounds here in San Antonio at the Texas Open. Super kid!!!
Agreed, Bud is not big (about the same size as Rory) but he hits the ball like he is. He's one of the few guys who qualified for the tour with his collegiate play. I'm sure he'll be back on the tour fulltime soon.
He was playing earlier this year but his back was bothering him. He recently just announced that he was gong to sit out the rest of the year to let it heal and hopefully avoid it nagging him for years down the road. How about Nick Watney, he was top 10 in 2011.
Probably mentioned already, but I read a short time ago that he gave up professional golf and is focusing on coachingMichael Campbell. Wins the US Open in the middle of the Tiger Woods era, has two more top 10's in majors that year, then disappears.

Kim was the first that came to mind. Also thought of a couple others that have already been mention: Clampett and Tryon
We had a thread a while back......where are they now? Or something like that. It was a fun one, I'll see if I can find it.
I've seen Justin Leonard here and there on Golf Channel talking golf, but golf wise, I haven't seen a lot from him lately. That's too bad, I've always liked Justin Leonard.
Here it is....fun thread to read through! Justin Leonard is even mentioned! Haha
Ah, the ol Anthony Kim thread
Will always miss AK.Ah, the ol Anthony Kim thread

It's the million dollar question, but the dude could also just go back there and be a total Rockstar again. His following is craaaaaaazyThe US tours aren’t for everyone. I wonder if he will ever gain that edge he had in Japan.
New screen name I'd guess.Mystery meat
