A few months back, THP did a forum testing review on a new brand of wedges called SCOR and the results were incredibly positive. While at the PGA Merchandise Show, THP got a chance to catch up with Shawn from SCOR and ask him what makes these new wedges unique and why the system makes sense.
This was a great review and an exceptional explanation of the SCOR clubs and their methodology. I absolutely love how these clubs tie into your set and do not look/feel/play like the standard aftermarket wedge. I have seen the V-Sole work for me firsthand and these have changed my short game.
Great interview, will definitely be trying these at the Outing.
That was simply a great interview and I cannot wait to try out the scor wedges as I think they really could change my game. They will be in lefty soon and I want to hit them so badly it hurts.
I’m loving my SCOR wedges. Had a shot out of the bunker Tue. afternoon blasted out to tight pin position with the 60*. Ball held tight and gave me a chance to score.
Shawn’s a wealth of knowledge! It’s evident that he loves his product and moreso that he believes in THP. Awesome stuff!
Another great video JB…good info here.
Shawn does a really good job of explaining the direction of these wedges here and actually has me considering the benefits, which is saying a lot in comparison to my company of choice. Accurate, consistent distance and the same club feel from 41* to 60* just makes so much sense.
What a great interview. 7mins didnt seem long at all, Shawn is great at explaining how the system works and I’m anxious to eventually get these in the bag.
By far the most fun interview of the show! Thanks Josh and team – love me some THP!
Cant wait to try these wedges out. Great job SCOR!
I need to get these in my bag! I think SCOR has such an incredible product here and I cant wait to try them out and hopefully game these permanently!
A friend had 4 SCOR clubs and I tried them during a round. Ordered three at the PGA Show and got them last Friday and couldn’t be more thrilled. They are everything promised in versatilitY, consistency & trajectory. I am sure replacements for my 9 iron and pitching wedge will follow. Great job, SCOR!
I’ll be giving these a to today, I’ll be reporting back in the thread. Very good looking wedges
Catch up on the test thread and check out SCORs site. I think everyone can pick up something from all the hard work folks have put in to making and testing these clubs.
I am surprised at the lack of shaft options …
Got the oppertunity to play the scor wedges. Great fell and also great to look down at which is very important.
I am something of a wedge geek. I bought the 52 deg. and found the head to be relatively small, not particularly forgiving, and the feeling harsh – the latter possibly related to the SCOR OEM shaft. SCOR has an absolutely fabulous idea, albeit poorly executed IMO. Buyer beware. I do not and cannot rate this club over a Vokey, Cleveland, Ping, or even a Bridgestone. To each his own, though.
