Wow, Eagle for Rory.

113 yds out, hits back of the green, spins all the way back what looks like 25 ft. SICK!

At this point, everybody else is playing for 2nd place! Let's hope Rory doesn't have a Masters relapse. He's very likable, and one of the young guns who can make everyone forget about Tiger!
 
Wow, just wow! Can't believe we don't get coverage for another 7 minutes. I am excited to see this wonder shot though! GO RORY!!
 
How good is this boy when he gets in the zone? Unbelievable so far!
 
Hole 9 - par 5 - 636 yards (but tees are 40 yards up) - playing at 595

Rory - big driver - left side of FW (may be able to reach in 2) - 360 YARD DRIVE
Phil - driver - barely trickles off FW and on short cut of rough
DJ - driver - left rough

Waiting for green to clear before 2nd shots.

Phil - 257 to green - FW wood went way left other side of trees to chipping area for other hole
Rory - 236 to green - FW wood - bunker right
DJ - did not show - thinking he laid up out of rough. 3rd shot hit to 7 feet short of pin for a birdie putt.

Phil - 3rd shot - wedge to 12 feet for birdie.
Rory - great lie in bunker - up slope - pitches it heavy and leaves it plus 20 feet short

Rory - runs 17 footer past hole about 4 feet. Tricky par putt coming back.
Phil - 12 foot for birdie missed. Tap in par.

I swear, if he can finish this round under par, he's not out of it. Rory is just playing text book golf though. Fairways and greens baby!

Keep up the updates even though tv coverage has started. Some of us are at working, not lounging in Plaid Pants :D
 
Coverage has now started in the UK :D That's my next 9 hours sorted then
 
As good as Rory is doing now, I'm not picking him as the winner until it's over.
