Rain most of the day, tornado warning south of us. My grandson was working close to there, he is fine . Thank the Lord.
 
90s with lows in the 60s thru Thursday. Whew. It's hot for us 'cause we're used to the low 80s.

You guys down in the deep south, be careful out there.

Was in Manhattan, KS Saturday night and the real temperature was 115 (supposedly the high temp in the US) (n)....looks like KC is in the 100's all week
 
Hurricane/ tropical storm Hillary just passed though our area last night. The local media had folks believing it was going to wipe southern California from the map, but here we are. The winds were lighter than standard Santa Ana winds here.
It is drizzling today. We needed the rain anyway. It will be sunny as usual tomorrow.
 
Topeka right now 101 with heat index 121, it's time to stay by the ac.
 
Weeks: no rain.

Today: 1" in 20 minutes, so far, and penny-sized hail.
