Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today James Miles joins the show to talk about something special coming soon.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but we talk about the Mizuno Experience this summer, finishing with Tony Finau and a whole lot more. This show has a lot going on and it is an episode you will not want to miss as James goes Off Course.
Episode 45 is here and Dan and his guest James discuss the following topics.
The Mizuno Experience Explained
Thoughts and Prayers to Tiger Woods
Finishing with Tony Finau
Mike Whan and the USGA
Dress Code on the Course
And so much more

It is gorgeous. Be careful, soon you will be like me and only own one putter.

Funny enough, the purge has started!
GREAT episode guys! Hope to get another one from you guys just before the Mizuno event!
Great episode and the Mizuno event is going to huge with both of you there.
I hadn’t added it up yet but 81 holes over 3 days in August is going to be a test of endurance. Almost every round I play that time of year it only takes to about the 3rd/4th hole to wonder if I made a mistake by going to play.
Awesome episode. Wish there was video of fanned 3 wood shot bounding down the freeway. The clothing discussion was great. I’m against the joggers the shirt was fine. @Jman that golf team is going to look good in those new team shirts. Jury still out as to my belief if you play on putter all year.
I’m going to grab a cup of coffee and give this a listen.

It is a good looking putter.
Firing this one up now, looking forward to the listen
As someone from the so called upper age group, I enjoyed the discussion regarding dress code on the course.

Hahaha! I was searching for words to not offend!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great listen as always guys. Banter and insights.
As for golf travel…I have two trips lined up for 2021 so far. Branson, MS to play Payne’s Valley and Buffalo Ridge at the end of March with a bunch of THPers! Then is last September, the AZ-THP crew is taking the show on the road and traveling to Austin to take on a group of TX-THPers. Both trips are looking to be a great time.
We need an 8th for our group going to Branson….Easy Drive from OK or OH. Just saying. 😉

You got a clarification of that so called upper age group. ??
Great listen as always. Banter and knowledge. The friendship was very evident in this pod.

The MS trip only has 7 guys, so we could use one more to fill out our tee times each day. Easy drive from OK and OH…..;)

Buffalo Ridge is a nice fun track. Payne’s looks great. Didn’t get the chance to play it when there last fall.

We all hoped that Ozark National was not in arriation when we go otherwise we would have added that one too.
We’re playing Buffalo Ridge twice then Paynes’ the next day, with a round TBD for the AZ boys on day 3.

It’s ok we’re play 36 at Buffalo Ridge that day instead.
Another beauty @Canadan & @Jman
These threads are a bit of a guilty pleasure, I’m going to be honest. It just makes me so happy that you guys enjoy enough to listen week after week and share your own thoughts.
thank you so much for that.
This was a ton of fun to listen to. @Jman ” I played golf in a hoody today” attire rebuttal, followed by @Canadan heavy sigh when blade collars ordered for the golf team had me laughing hard. I wore jeans at golf practice frequently back in the day, always slacks for matches. Completely agree that kids need to be able to show up to practice and worry more about golf than how they are dressed. Having perfect wardrobe to play isn’t the point. Keep it clean for matches and rock the hoody’s and jeans as needed.

That is one Beautiful looking putter.
Great podcast guys. Agree that chocolate from Canada and virtually every other country has no taste at all. Growing up with Hershey Chocolate leaves all other chocolate by the wayside.
