Final 8 in remax long drive

Wich outting when and where. I think its because im considered a pro in long drive that I cant participate in the events.

Y'all got nice on him quick!!! :) Back when I drove par 4's was when I played a tiny Golfsmith steel head, with stiff steel shaft! 44 inches! I dented the face, had to get rid of it, and only hit 340-350 three four or 5 times since. I'd love to get a little driver like that again...

Actually the outings aren't professional events. They are invitationals for Albatross club members and are happening across the country. Take a look around the forum and see if there's one near you. It's just a chance for THP members to come together and play.

im at the gym right now but when I get back home ill check.and see if theres one within a few hours drive and not on the same date as a long drive tourny ill go.

Probably won't be an option later, limited spots.

The final 8 this year will be hitting at a 50yd grid from a 75 ft platform. Im just wondering if that may be a bit much. Im not sure a lot of the tour players hit a grid under those conditions. Anyone ever hit from a elevated tee like that. Im not sure I have I wonder how much tougher it's going to be.

Sounds like it's getting more difficult. I wonder how this will change it.

My guess is that it is full with in the next 72 hours.

Yea it will be very difficult idk what to hit from a 75 ft elevated tee. Maybe a one degree driver or something. If there was to be a cross wind it will be almost impossible.

Ill.probabaly have to.pass on the fl outing then. Its hard for.me.to plan.that far ahead with a wifey and two kids. I will look into.maybe making it to an.ohio outing tho.

I could easily make it to the invitational in cincy in april. But unless jb can.make an.exception.to the rule I.cant play in that.

krank,
exception or not, it is sold out and has been for a while. It appears as though tons of Albatross Club Members are excited to come to the area for that Invitational and it sold out very quickly.

Maybe join us for the round on Sunday

Callaway has some major names in LDA under spornsorship all have won some big events. Most are from the Krank stable I'm sure they are upset now that the Element is up for sale. The X Hot they use isn't the same that PGA players use it's a special design just for this abuse these guys are going to put on it.

yea krank wasnt to happy some left without saying a word. actually surprised me the champ stayed tho. seems he would have been the one they wanted most.

i might would do that golfin.

I really like watching that competition. The guys are amazingly strong and flexible.
Two years ago, I played with a young man, very fine player, who, with a normal , controlled swing, could carry it in the 320 range. He hit most fairways and shot in the 60s on a tough course. It was a bit intimidating. he was a slender , non bulked up guy with a really good swing.
What I noticed the most was how high his hand stayed above his shoulders on the backswing. really flexible.
His length gave him such an advantage.

I played a round of golf in Myrtle Beach with Scott Erickson, the former MLB World Series winning pitcher, and he could carry the ball around 320 yards off the tee. I had never seen 320 carry before that round, and whenever he pulled out driver on a hole, we basically could just watch the direction it was going in, because typically we couldn't see the ball all the way down to the ground.

Give me tour pros in a long drive contest. That would be much better.

explain pls they would be 50 plus yards shorter. bubba and a few more have been offered spots and turned it down. i dont blame them tho.
