How many spots do we have left? We have a lot of talk about Friday and Sunday rounds but lets get the outing filled up here. It is going to be a great event, Myrtle was a blast.
 
$79 for a round there seems like a great deal. And waiting till 48 hours before shouldn't be an issue. Gives us a better idea of who is DEFINITELY coming.

Agreed, get some times and then at worst we cancel 48hrs in advance and there's nothing to worry about.

Alright, I'm getting the Sunday round discussion going. Those pics of Twisted are getting me fired up.

Here's my one question at this point for those of you playing Sunday; do we want to play Twisted as well or mix it up and go some where else?

Depends on what happens saturday night. We might all be playing twisted sunday.
 
Twisted is fine for me on Sunday (or anywhere else)

The earlier the better so we can get home at a decent hour - and will be fun to see the hang overs on the first tee

Sounds good to me; some of my best rounds have been while hungover.... and also some of my worst.
 
Ok people should only be a handful of spots left for this event! Let's get this one filled up. It is gonna be a great event with THPers on Saturday May 4th and rounds on Friday and Sunday if you are interested and can make it. Don't wait to sign up or you will be sorry.
 
are we still open for this? Trying to see if any obs I have that weekend and if not I'm very lnterested and possibly work it out to come along.. Couple questions as i've never done this before so forgive my ignorance about it. What is the normal routine if weather/rain becomes a factor? I know we dont require a handicap but what is done for that purpose if one doesnt have an official one? Two man teams - does that mean macth play or how is that working. Of course having fun and enjoyment is the main reason for me to do this (and hopefully golf well) but I am just curious how its done. Hope its not too many questions.

Not sure but I was under the impression its a 2 man best ball tournament and have no clue about rain. We're in AC though so if it gets rained out I'm just going to the casinos to drown my sorrows with copious amounts of vodka. Where are you heading from?

Yes spots are still open. Just send a PM to GolferGal.
If we are rained out (we dont talk about rain) it will be handled appropriately.
There is no handicap requirements, teams are paired accordingly.
It is not best ball, but a team stroke play event.
We explain scoring in detail on the day of the event.
 
I thought it was best ball too. Oh boy my poor partner. It will still be fun and that's all that matters.
 
NJROB -- be heading from Holmdel/Hazlet about an hour and half away from AC. 117 off the parkway. My problem is my two kids travel team sports. causes real hectic (but great) conflicts on weekends. Plus other personal matters and obligations in the family also makes "sure" plans difficult for me to plan on. We always do things last minute because of such. A day can look clear and then 2 days prior we find out its not clear. So its a tuff choice to jump into it when being a bit blind to that weekend from a couple months away. sounds bit crazy but thats the way it is for me.

Question...my fiance who is not quite ready for the course but respects the game might want to come out and watch me play a few holes and snap some pictures - she would not be playing - would this be allowed?...Don't want to step on anyone's toes...
