Tim is opposite. It appears in my one round of playing that Tim likes to play the cutter. Maybe from his pitching days? He did miss a few on Sunday to the left (2nd hole tee shot, 4th and 5th hole tee shot) but your right, his miss tends to be to the right from his cut shot.

Can I ask you this JB.....at address, how does the club look to your eye? Closed, Open or Square?

It's from going back up the middle and keeping my hands inside the ball longer and not turning over- hence my love of the cut and fade. Which is why I'm so pumped about this driver. If it allows me to be really aggressive and turn over, I could be longer than I ever have been. Color me excited!!!
 
If I'm not mistaken - according to the manual it looks like the loft settings are identical to the Classic XL Custom.

Very well might be. I can not overestimate how excited I am to game this.
 
I need to mention again how excited I am about this shaft pairing as well. Jman has commented frequently about how his love of the Red Tie (and the line in general) as have many others to have this shaft in two Morgan Cup offerings is excellent.

I think it's going to be different in quite a few ways - weight being the biggest one. I also think that it's not going to be as big a divide as the Classic was. More forgiving cross-face, maybe not so super-duper low spin. Somebody earlier mentioned that it was very similar to their Black Tour, though I've never hit that one.
 
Is it loud as the CG Black?
 
This one has me intrigued. I think with this one, they made it everything I wanted the Classic Custom to be. A bit more spin, still a deepish face, and just a beauty.

I need to hit this one.
 
From what I have been told it sounds great. Won't know myself for a few more days.

Which is something that is important. I have always enjoyed the sound of their clubs personally.

Yea buddy. The OG Classic was something I loved to listen too. Unique sound.

I just decided I'm going to have to drive somewhere to a heated range this weekend. Need to see ball filght and hear how this one sounds.

Anybody know what other shaft options will be available apart from the matrix?
 
No info on that yet that I've seen sgtpepper. They still have the 2013 custom catalog up on the website.
