I was looking at the Days Inn, but where ever the other Memphis guys want to stay I'm good.

I'll be in search of cheap lodging. If sharing with the offer that THP arranged is a good deal, that's what I'll do.

Definitely hoping to stay near everyone else as long as it's cost effective.

I'm definitely not paying those prices if there is something more reasonable available.

After reading reviews, this place doesn't look so good anymore.

Man I wish I could have attend this one. Just tough as small business owner to get away twice in 1 month... I wish I could do all events lol

Thanks. I had forgot all about signing up today. I was on hole 15 when I remembered around 1:20pm my time, I am glad it didn't sell out that quick for me.

Louisiana better be ready for this Hoosier!! Definitely looking forward to meeting new THPers and seeing some old friends.

Who's doing the Houston carpool thing! I may need picked up from the airport.
 
I will try to room where the majority stay, put the wife to bed and come out and party like the college days lol. From bar straight to the golf course. Who am I kidding I will be snoring by 10. Excited for my first event.

For all the people flying into Houston, I can cover people flying into IAH on the north side if anyone decides to go that way. If possible, I would prefer to play Friday (if we get a round going), but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. So, if you're in need of a shuttle from IAH to Lake Charles, give me a holler.
 
The Wingate, Spring Hill Suites & La Quinta on W. Prien Lake are all very close to the casino. Rates have gone up considerably due to all the construction going on in the area. We were paying around $80/night a couple of years ago.

LC has a booming economy. They're projected to add something like 7500 jobs over the next 5 years due to some huge new chemical plants, casino & aerospace industry jobs. There will be a lot of permanent jobs created once construction is complete.

People are making tons of cash opening RV parks for the construction workers.
 
Just spoke about this event with my dad. He and my mom are planning to meet me for the weekend in Lake Charles. If they do I will proly stay with them at the casino. Free lodging, food, drinks and gambling money. Cant beat that!
 
just caught up on this thread and looks like there is a great group of THPers attending and the course looks stunning!

I was able to get a little bit off the price of the Friday night stay at the L'Auberge: $179. This is for all who are interested, only 14 rooms available (or for 28 THP'ers). Rooms are double-occupancy.
