I tought I was going back home this weekend and stay there for a while, but after a week of failiures out of my control (stupid third parties) and posponing tests, I will ahve to come back next week.

if being away from my girlfriend and my dog wasnt bad enough, my grandpa is still at the hospital and I wont be able to visit him. and I will miss my own birthday.......

That pretty much stinks dude especially when you work hard and the boss is too lazy to hand out the recognition you earned and the positive criticism we all need. Give yourself a good one, that way he signs off on it and you have a good defense for a raise.
 
So all year we have been told budget issues will cause training or traveling for conferences to be heavily scrutinized. I find out today that the biggest conference for my field is being attended by another team member and the decision was last minute. WTF!! Last minute means double or triple airfare and paying full price for the conference. I was born at night, but not last night and something isn't adding up. What we are paying for one two of us could have gone if planned properly. Pissed off doesn't even begin to describe it & this puts me at a crossroads of where I need to be professionally.
 
I haven't played golf all year. Actually it's probably been 8 months. That is all.
 
Then let's go play. Rant cured.
 
Coming back from NYC tomorrow in early afternoon with Memorial Day traffic = run car into oncoming traffic.

Hey buddy! I'm down whenever you let me know. I'm sure ill need to brush up on my fantastic driver off the deck skills. Ill try not to run over any skunks on my way this time either!

Hmm. How about 8-ish Saturday at hawthorn? I'll call tomorrow.
 
Everytime I do drywall I run out of freeking mud on the first coat. And every time I think I should have plenty to do the entire job.

Finally make some progress, get the bathroom mudded..... and I don't have enough to do my 2nd/finish coat.

Sweet!!!! I'm in. On another have you ever played that PGA course at the casino in riverside iowa? Maybe we should hit that up someday?
 
I haven't, but one of these days I'd like to get over there.

Ha, it is time consuming. One 5 gallon bucket should do 10 sheets of rock, thats tape, block and skim. Me, I always pull everything tight and always end up skimming twice if not 3 times. I flat hate sanding...
 
Wednesday - Broken golf club...
Thursday - A side window on my car just falls down in my car door...
Friday - Get hit by another car while leaving my broken golf club...

sigh...
