That looks great

I am in Atlanta for a few hours today to meet with my client. I will either hit Vortex or Yeah! for a burger today. Drive home will be a bit slow after lunch.

This is not the chicken sandwich thread, it's the burger thread....hehehehe

Good point. I guess it could go in the beer thread too! Looks tasty either way.

I had a Juicy Lucy at Square 1 Burgers this weekend. Flavor was good, but it was swmiming in grease. Like soggy bun swimming in grease. I didn't think the juicy part was going to be a puddle of grease on the plate.

Had an excellent lamb burger at Brouwer's in Fremont (Seattle) last night with cajun mayo and roasted red peppers, plus Belgian style frites! Mmmm it was awesome

Sarasota.

Same place as Greg, Square 1 Burgers in Sarasota.

I orderd the Maui Wowie.

Wild boar glazed with teriyaki-ginger BarBQue sauce, and topped with grilled ham, Swiss cheese, and pineapple

It was amazing

I love a good burger man. Sounds like both need to be on my radar. Really hoping to make down to your neck of the woods sooner rather than later...

Ohio, not so much hehe

Thurman Cafe in Columbus, OH. Good burgers

While it may not be the best burger around, the Whataburger Patty Melt is still awfully dang tasty!

I make a mean burger and with a fried egg added it's amazing. I have also been making chicken burgers which is tough as it is so lean. I mince onion and garlic (adds juice) with a splash of worchester (my spelling) and just black pepper and salt. With these I slice up some avocado and use Dukes mayo. Yum Yum...

That's the one to get there.

I hope you at least went to the one in five point. My office is like a mile from the one in midtown.

I've done the fried egg thing too. Can be pretty amazing and messy. I marinate chuck in Worcester sauce for a few minutes. Once in a patty I add Kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, some garlic powder and paprika to both sides.

That looks all kinds of wrong but so right at the same time

I had a burger worth mentioming this week. Believe it or not, it came from the buffet at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. We met a client there for lunch. They have a grill there that makes burgers and dogs. My friend said "Trust me, get one of the burgers." You have to ask them to grill it, and it is a very small, no gimmick burger. However, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I went back for a second (like I said, they are smallish).

Pictured here is Purgatory’s signature burger; The Pitchfork, created by Chef Tom. This burger begins with a toasted sesame seed bun served with our home-made spicy Purgatory Sauce, next two seasoned Black Angus beef patties are topped with 3 different cheeses, 3 strips of applewood smoked bacon, sliced honey ham and fresh toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. The Pitchfork Burger is paired in this photograph with another Purgatory signature; The Pitchfork Ale. A Belgian style ale brewed for us by Triton Brewery Company, a local Indianapolis brewery.
