Company’s Most Premium Footwear Delivers Premier Comfort and Stability

Carlsbad, Calif. (March 3, 2014) – adidas Golf, an industry leader in innovation, technology and performance footwear, has announced the release of the pure 360 footwear collection, the next generation of adipure™ footwear. The collection features clean, classic silhouettes, ultra-flexible outsoles and premium materials aimed at allowing the foot and body to move in the way it was naturally meant to from the ground up.

To achieve the perfect combination of comfort and stability in the pure 360, adidas Golf footwear designers utilized our thinnest and softest leather combined with innovative construction technologies, highlighted by poured polyurethane (PU) injected directly into a revolutionary new puremotion® outsole to provide ultimate cushioning and unmatched comfort.

Dustin Johnson, adidas Golf Tour staff professional since 2007, first played the new pure 360 at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in January, where he praised the footwear’s aesthetic appearance and performance attributes.

“Walking as much as we do out on tour definitely takes its toll,” said Dustin Johnson, eight-time winner on the PGA TOUR. “Once I started wearing the pure 360, I immediately felt the incredible comfort and feel more refreshed at the end of my round. Not only do they look great, they’re the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn.”

For unrivaled stability, designers gathered critical tour player feedback and incorporated a newly designed external heel cage paired with a new tour performance last for 360WRAP support in the midfoot and heel. The outsole of the pure 360 features proprietary puremotion™ technology that allows the golfer’s foot to move more naturally during play. The totally redesigned thintech® outsole features swing plane traction and a new midfoot cleat to create even more grip and stability.

“Our tour athletes know what they need in their footwear to perform at their highest level,” said Masun Denison, Director, Global Product marketing, Footwear at adidas Golf. “We’ve listened carefully to their feedback and combined it with new material technologies to create a premium shoe that we’re confident will resonate with both tour players and amateurs alike.”
Available now, pure 360 is available in four colorways: Black / Running White / Samba Blue, Running White / Silver Metallic / Slime, Tan Brown / White / Dark Solar Blue and Running White / Running White / Metallic Silver at an MSRP of $250 USD.

Good info and nice video. Got a first hand look at these shoes last week. Like what I saw.

It's so cool to hear the tech behind these, I understand comfort can be calculated scientifically, but it sure sounds like they're trying to get there. I wasn't sold on these at first, but they are growing on me. I can't wait to try them on!

Great year for golf shoes, PUMA and Adidas are introducing some awesome products with crazy technology and design.

Thanks for sharing Hawk. The tech is very intriguing but I can't even consider them until they are 60% off...just too much coin.

Really cool video. These are growing on me. Not sure I would pay the price for them, buy they're growing.

Those look so good and if they are MORE comfortable than my current Adidas shoes, then I can't wait to get a pair for myself. I love my Adidas golf shoes, but like #Cookie said, until they come down in price, I won't be able to enjoy them.

I didn't even notice the price, wow. I won't buy anything retail price for golf, the prices are extremely high.

Nice looking shoe, but until they put out and extra wide I'll have to stick with FJ.

They look even better with pants than just stand alone pictures but as most have said I will wait for them to come down in price. I am an Adidas shoe fanboy so I have to have a pair.

I really like the looks of these. I have always loved Adidas but their shoes seem to always be a bit narrow and my feet just don't work with that. Very interesting tech they've got in these. Really sounds like some neat stuff.

Great looking shoes. Up until last year I wax an Adidas homer in the shoe dept and I think these might be my next purchase.

They look great. Also that liquid softness sounds interesting and if they help your feet on the course they are a winner.

These look goooooood. Want! I like the brown as well! (The brown isn't apparently available in the US).

Iv just took a pair of footjoy xps back to the shop as they split. I could have any pair of shoes I wanted that the had in stock gone for these in black!
Only wore them to the range but they seam to be comfy and give great freedom and grip during the swing! They are quite heavy tho!!!

I like that they do not look like bowling shoes

Had the chance to check these out in person at PGA Superstore and they are stunning. Comfortable and minimal in style.

I bought these shoes for around $145.00 hands down the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn. I have worn all brands and tried spikeless as well these shoes beat them all. Retail cost is $250 which I could not afford but I will be buying another pair as soon as I find the right size. I want to stock up enough pairs to last me a couple years.
