not sure the rule about going in to a playoff. Clearly not during normal playing condition when he broke it.
Side note, I wouldn't mind doing that to a certain driver of mine

Even still...seems like he hit it in just the right spot for that to happen.

Might be the slow play playoff of the century but could be interesting w/o a driver.

Same here. You could hear the impact and it wasn't bad at all. I'm not sure what the tee markers are made out of, but maybe the shaft caught the marker? The break looked pretty high up. I bet he hit the ground without really looking and the shaft snapped on the tee marker.
