Strange Michigan hasnt been mentioned yet, according to CJ and PhillyV theirs some great golf up there
2015 THP Events--Where and Why? Lets Discuss
People don't realize the quality of affordable public courses in Kansas City. And I want to play the course in Raymore soon brother!!!

I made mention to Morgan about the possibility of doing on on Fort Gordon in Augusta. Decent airport, good size city, so lots of hotels and amenities, and it's the top rated military course by the PGA. Cost is really good, it's 27 holes and they're all laid out really well, and I've played it a bunch, so I'd have an advantage.

Its not quite grand enough for a THP Event, but glad you are enjoying it.

I would love the chance to get out West with THPers. Colorado/SoCal are excellent ideas. I'd even say Arizona. If there's another Vegas event, I will not miss that. Seems to always be an event or two within driving distance for me, so I'm trying to think outside the box.
And Branson would be great so I can have a rematch with Sposey123456etc.

North Carolina would be nice. Raleigh and Charlotte both very easy to fly into, and locally driving from VA, NC, or SC is feasible. Heck, we got 20+ together for an informal event last year at Pinehurst. Tons of great venues.
Get your tail up here, Bring your girlfriend, we can send the girls shopping while we golf, of course our golf will seem cheap when you get your credit card bill from the outlet malls lol

A few have already called it my favorite choices.
1. Dallas
2. RTJ trail
3. Raleigh/Pinehurst, some great golf in that area.
4. Branson
5. San Antonio
6. Denver ; I was really excited to hear about the Denver event 2 years ago, then it got replaced. Of course, with something even greater. That Vegas event was incredible.
7. Just about anything west of the Rockies.
I know there are a million choices of fantastic places for THP to travel to next year. These are just a few that come to mind right now.
This year's events calender has been amazing, and I wish I could have attended more. But I have to say, each one that I have attended was AMAZING.

At least I brought my wife to redeem myself.
And Lyman Orchards was awesome. Would love to play there again in late september/early october when the leaves are changing

So many good places, "up north" golf starts in and around Gaylord. 3 hour drive from flint, 4 from Detroit.
Southwest has a lot of good courses around Grand Rapids.
There is a truly unique course on mackinac island, no gas cars on island, horse drawn carriage ride between nines
Anywhere in the Quad Cities area worth playing at? I have never really been up that way just Des Moines area.

We've always done pretty well in DM though. Both official and non-offical events. Really though, I don't know. I'll come to what I can.

Has there ever been an event at French Lick? I've always wanted to go there, not that it's all that easy to get to though... Seems to be right in the middle for a lot of people driving distance wise though.

TPC Deere Run is a great course and there are places to stay, but I'm not tossing that out there. Too much pressure.
I think Chicago in the summer would be fun. Another city that is easy for everyone to go to.
