2015 THP Events--Where and Why? Lets Discuss

thank you everyone for the colorado votes. it would be awesome to see an event come here.

I will say I am willing to travel for thp evemts though :)
dont forget united has a non stop daily denver to springfield, MO.
I think we should visit each others cities for some golf :)

I think playing Wolf Creek in Nevada would be sweet!

The two Oasis courses (Palmer and Canyon) are also great tracks in Mesquite and reasonable cost to play. Not easy to get to Mesquite though. 90 miles of desert from Las Vegas.

Syracuse NY. Turning Stone Resort has three outstanding courses and the Casino.

Pinehurst area but the issue there is a bit of a drive to Raleigh which is probably the closest airport. It is however in a central driving location for the east coast.

RTJ Trail would be awesome. Somewhere I would love to go play is Connecticut. I have no idea why but I just love some of the courses in the northern east coast. New York or New Jersey would also be fun

Add me to the Denver list. I would try everything in my power to make it.

Ohio missed you this year, THP. So i'll add that -- There are some fun courses in Columbus!

Also, Franklin TN. For one reason.

Would LOVE to see THP come back to Ohio. Mainly because I'd come crash at your place and make a long golf trip out of it and just have some absolute marathon golf days with you. AND I need to become a fan of Zeke's knowing a dog doesn't like me doesn't sit well with me.

I second the pitches for SA, RTJ, Denver, Chicago and Michigan because I haven't played there before. I've had awesome golf trips to Naples, Myrtle, Austin, Prince Edward Island, Newport (RI) and Orlando.

I've always envisioned a THP event here in the WNY area and honestly the ONLY place near me that I think would be capable of holding one (unfortunately) I think would be Turning Stone. Although I have no idea on their pricing, but I've once heard of a guy named Mike Dean (also know as Mike Dean) that can work some absolute magic on prices. I think it would be a big hit, but that's just me being selfish wanting to bring my THP family close to my roots!

I have no preference, I'll make the events I can. But if you held a gun to my head, I'd like to get up to Wisconsin, Iowa, New York areas.

Would love to have you up this way Panda! If it ever happens it would be great to host ya in the god awful state I call home lol.

Now how cool would that be?

You have no clue! I try not to think about it really lol I don't want to get my hopes up. Although I think there's some course in the Rochester area and I'm sure some in the Buffalo area that could hold an invitational style event, not sure anywhere other than Turning Stone that could hold a grander style.

I seem to recall checking that place out before for some reason. looked nice

Alright I will put out a bit of a longer list:
- Branson
- KC
- St. Louis
- Des Moines
- Chicago
- Dallas
- Austin
- San Antonio
- Las Vegas
- Mesquite Nevada
- Scottsdale
- RTJ Trail
- Hilton Head

Now mind you, this is where I would like to see events, not necessarily all of them would be feasible for me economically.

Turning stone would be great. Some awesome courses up there. Traveling probably isn't in the cards for me next year unless it's driving distance so I won't really add much here.

Yeah no doubt man it would be awesome. There's some nice courses up this way that I think I would be a nice fit. Guess it all depends on the amount of people willing to come up here haha

If I see 1 more KC so help me gawd.

Just kidding keep the input coming

I've never played, but I've only heard good things. All the courses have I believe (except for the one that the tour plays on) has free replays the same day. Everyone who's played there also says the cheaper of the 3 or 4 that are there is by far the nicest. The casino being right there makes entertainment aspect pretty awesome. Just makes a lot of sense (on paper)

Hey, like I said, I am not sure it would happen due to some of the guys who haven't showed up for events, but I still think it would be a great place to have an event. I know of a TON of courses here that would be good

Are there hotels nearby or is It middle of nowhere?

If* big if* there's an event in the WNY/Central NY area you're coming. I don't care if I have to drive to come pick you up and drive you home lol.
