It didn't end well. It got to the point where there was some profanity, and some scorecard tearing. I'm honestly just lost in my game.

Just finished 9 holes in a squall and played so well I'm just going to pack it in for the day.
Wind is gusting to 35+ mph and the rain is coming down sideways haha.

Shot a 43 on the front had no business shooting that short game bailed me out. Starting back 9 off with a huge drive though so maybe it will turn around

Another Par 3. Had I hit my AW another 2 yards, it would have been very close. But, I landed on the top of the ridge and caught the false front all the way back towards the tee box. This is the green in the pic that Miller took and you can see that giant hump and ridge back down the hill.

FWIW, though, I ended up pulling a wee bit and in the neck-high links course grass.
 
THP Live Round thread!

Great pics of Cuscowilla. I personally hate that course! I had my first GWGA tournament there. Shot an 85 in the practice round and totally blew up in the tournament. The traps are everywhere and took a toll on me. That was about 5 years ago and I learned a lot from that course! Made me a better player by forcing me to work on my weaknesses (mental game and sand).

Bunkers. Pffftt!! I scoff at those bunkers! Honestly, it was my middle game that stunk. Had I been able to hit anything from 6-9 iron, I would have put up a really nice number. But seriously, I commented almost immediately, that it reminded my VERY much of Purgatory in Indiana. The difference was they didn't have 4 foot second cut rough at Cuscowilla.
