I think many people thought a certain past winner at St Andrews would get off to a nice start today. The one who is in a bit of a major drought and is currently struggling pretty heavily, many have any called for him to hang it up. Sure enough they were right, Daly looking competitive out of the gate.

No idea what ESPN was talking about then. Maybe it was just < 5 feet. that's pretty incredible that he has a better chance of making it from 9 or10 feet than 8'-4'.

I picked Oosty and Paul Casey. Oosty pick looking good right now, but Casey needs to pick it up a bit. He definitely got the tough draw today though. At least he'll play AM tomorrow.
 
Fowler with the 3 putt par, has to be kicking himself after that!
 
For Phil's unplayable, could he not have taken his perfect provisional?
