What are your club distances?

This thread is a good read. I just got almost all new sticks (minus the driver/fwy/hybrid) and am in the middle of a swing change so i really dont have any idea as to what my distances are. The pro i'm taking lessons with has promised me more distance so i'm going to hold him to that come spring time...

These are almost exactly mine except for the driver. Damn dude you hit the big dog long

Yeah I hit driver pretty good when it is staright. If I get a fade into it then I lose some yardage. I know that I don't hit the other clubs as long as other but it does not bother me cause I know I am around 10 yards different in them all. fjadkdsfj

CARRY?? :bulgy-eyes:

Consistently, no, to many variables, wind, temperature, so on so on, but hot sunny day, im sure over 260, your in Texas Bridges maybe we can play sometime

I have never been a long hitter of the ball , but get around the course alright , and have played with guys that just rip the ball 270+ and it still takes them 5-7 shots from just 60 yards or shorter to get it in the hole while I still make par or bogey :D

Sounds like we must have played together sometime then. :act-up:

That 3wd was killer after the 150 yard drives off the trees at Harbour Town. You still beat me with my 100 yrd knuckle ball driver that day! :D

I want to join lol. I'm really just expecting homemade loco moco. HA. We do have some ballers though. I have a few people I play with that just launch the ball. My uncle and a buddy of mine. Both named Mike. Coincidence?

shoots ill hook up all the grub specially da bbq!
my brother and my cousin are long ballers everyone always wants them on their best ball team but if we play stroke for stroke i got them 7 times outta 10
direction trumps distance against those guys hahaha

(btw im no slouch in the distance dept... but its hard for me to see guys on here averaging over 250 when tour guys are averaging 280 or so)

I see a Texas outing in the near future. WOOT!

Driver: 220
6Iron: 140
PW: 100

Not long but pretty straight most of the time.

I honestly really don't know... my yardage with irons varies by temperature. the warmer it is, the longer I am. only thing I am consistent with is my SW at 100-105.

These are best guess numbers (not pure hit, but typical swing in normal conditions):

Driver: 260
3 Wood: 230
3h: 210
4h: 200
5h: 185
6i: 175
7i: 165
8i: 150
9i: 140
PW: 125
52: 115
56: 100
60: 70

My numbers are based off a simulator. The numbers could be completely off, but I go by the computer numbers.

Just estimations from memory last year

Simulators have shown 250yds for my drive, but I've never hit a ball more than 230 yds in actual play. Maybe I need a new driver.

230 is a pretty good pop... im really happy when i get it around or past 230

I agree it's a good pop. I just assume it was accurate since I use an 8 iron as my 150 on the course and it also showed up accurately on the simulator, so I figured both were accurate rather than both being wrong.

Wow KellyBo, you have good driving distance! I just can't get my driver to cooperate. I wish I could get 200 off of mine! Lately, not looking so good. I hope to have it back in shape by the time of the outing, but I'm not sure how much golf I'll get in by then.

To be honest Patty, I have been struggling with my driver lately. It comes and goes like it all does. It was much better this summer but I have started fading it again sometimes which causes me to lose considerable distance. Dang, this game is frustrating, especially when your body is getting older and won't cooperate! Flexibility is my biggest handicap right now.

Driver - 300+ (Love the Superfast!)
3W - 270
5W - 240-250
Irons - Just got a set of X22s thanks to a trade in and haven't hit them yet.
52* - 130
56* - 115
60* - Got it end of last season and haven't used it yet.

I have always been able to get the green but when I putt...well thats a different story. I was using an old school Callaway BJ-5 so hopefully the Marxman will help me line up with the ball better.

2H: 215 - 225

PW: 125 - 135
52: 110 - 120
56: 95 - 105
60: 90 and in

I realize that when you add my putter, that's 15 clubs. If I play in a tournament, I take out the 3 iron and choke up on the 2H.

edit: This is just a joke and not my real numbers for those of you that are curious (Smalls lol)

All my clubs go the same distance......about 50 yds. when I throw them!

But I can get my driver out there for about another 20-25 yds. Must be the stiff shaft......

(Just kidding. I never throw my clubs and can't stand people who do...)
