What do you guys think? Any surprises?

Shouldn't be surprised but Tiger at 25/1 is funny

Tiger seems a tad high to me.

25/1 is what it is. The funny part is that they feel he has the same odds to win as Rose, Scott, and Fowler.

out of the last three names, Rickie should be lumped into that group.

TW can't make a cut and Adam will be rolling a standard issue putter. No wins in his immediate future

He did make the cut there this year so maybe they gave that to much weight

25/1 for Tiger is very generous.

They know people will bet on him.. That is why

People will only bet on him because they are going to get great odds not because they feel he will win. Haha

Can you imagine how much money sports books must have made off of Tiger for the past 6 or 7 years in majors (those he's played in anyway)? The fact that he's still 25:1 says a lot about how many people still place bets on him.

Ummm, where's Phil? That's my surprise. Sure, he can suck most of the year, but the Masters usually gets his juices going. And he did finish 2nd this year. I'm not sure DJ is 15/1 material, but only because there is something wrong with his head. If he gets that worked out, he'll be a non-choking threat for every major.

Exactly, it is about getting bets, not about who they think will win. Usually the odds follow the true favorites but then you have someone who will get some action like Tiger and his odds will make it look like they are a favorite too when actually they are not.

from a pure gambling point of view, I'll take Watson at 15/1. I'll hate myself for it...but I think those are very nice odds for a guy who has shown he can handle the course.

I don't think the Tiger odds are that far out of line. Dude still finished tied for 17th this year.

I would right now take Bubba at 15/1 and Fowler at 25/1.
Tiger at 25/1? That seems to be a bit high.

TW @ 25/1 on winning the Masters in 2016 or is it 25/1 that his new restaurant will survive 2016?

Not a sports bettor, but if I were, I would not put anything on the bottom 3 or DJ. I like Fowler but just wouldn't trust him enough to put money on based on his lackluster major performances this year.

Well he is "in control of the ball" like he wants, he just can't get the speed of those pesky greens. Maybe they think he'll have the speeds down better by next April?

They don't make odds to be 'true odds'. They will get 200-400% more bets on tiger than they will everyone else so they have to make a 75-1 underdog a 25-1 to limit their exposure. Same thing with Duke and Kentucky Basketball, Cowboys in the 80s & early 90s & Steelers , Packers, and 49ers when they were dominant & Lakers in the 80s and so on. If u ever are in Vegas just ask the guy at sportsbook desk who everyone is getting on
