2022 Odyssey and Toulon Design Putters

Wanted to try the new Superstroke Zenergy grip so I had to find a new putter to put it on. Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K #7 CH seemed like a good candidate.

Typically prefer a double bend shaft and face balanced but something about the #7CH just looks right.

Weather here in Michigan means putting in the basement for awhile.

Superstroke Zenergy grip is improved in every way compared to the Traxion Tour 2.0 I played previously. Stitching on the back is less prominent and feel in the hands overall is better.

Tri-Hot 5K #7CH feels excellent and puts a great roll on the ball.

I have tried the Stroke Lab shafts in various OG White Hots, last years 5K’s, Ten versions, etc. but the ckmbo this year just feels better. Previous iterations almost felt light compared to my V-Line with a steel shaft.

Now if the snow would melt I could try it on a putting green to see if it will actually get out on the course.

Might want to throw this in the 2023 thread 😁

This damn putter man…..holy smokes. I will have this one this season. I’ve missed a true Odyssey insert. I’ve rolled my Toulon and Works 7ch and while I love the 7ch set up, the works face is just not my favorite.

It arrived today. I really like this putter. Don’t love the grip but I want to try it a couple times before going a different route

All I've been able to do for five months is putt and putt some more. Redid the grip on my Toulon Chicago and man is it feeling good right now. 80% of the time, perfectly on my line through my makeshift gates on my putting mat. If I can hit my line that often this season (which is my usual issue with putting) I'll be making more birdies for sure!

Gaming this Toulon Le Mans since the GD. While my putting has gotten more consistent, I'm still not making a ton of putts yet.

That being said, my lag putting since getting fit at ECPC is WAYYYYYYYYY better than it ever was prior. The LeMans, mixed with triple track seems to be helping my alignment quite a bit. I just need to get more time in with the putter itself. More to come.

Any chance we are getting a refresh of some of the Toulon models this year?
On the Odyssey site the Las Vegas is not an option unless you go through the garage.

I’d like to see the Xander proto released. It’s a great combination.

honestly i would like to at least see SOMETHING from Toulon aside from SB putters. Seems like theyve been pretty quiet lately

agreed. I wonder if something delayed a scheduled release. hopefully we see something soon.

Played a course for the first time this year and the greens were rolling quite quick and true. The Toulon Las Vegas has cemented itself in the bag. My pace control was dialed and I was hitting my lines well.

White Hot OG 2-Ball Stroke Lab arrived today.

IMG_6167.jpegHad a great first round with the Two Ball. Will have more thoughts later, but great first experience on the course.

Had a great time over the last couple days trying out some of the newer designs from Toulon.

Le Mans was a surprising competitor. Very balanced, easy to set - I can see why people like it.

Would absolutely love a plumbers neck (crank hosel as Odyssey calls it) on a Le Mans.

Had been struggling to gain any sort of feel inside 6 ft with the 11 so decided to go back to the San Diego and had my best putting round in a long time. Big difference in greens though so its still early to tell but that SD is so good for me

7 DB or 2 Ball? Hmmmm
