With JDax's rock thread I thought this might be interesting (and a way to build my playlist). Best non-rock album of all time start to finish?

I'd start with:

Michael Jackson - Thriller
Bob Marley - Exodus
Dr. Dre - The Chronic
Eminem - The Slim Shady LP

What say you?

Bud the spud. Stompin Tom Connors.

2pac all eyez on me disc 2. Disc 1 is great, but disc 2 is a classic.

Underworld, everything everything.

Probably not one many will understand, but it'd be really, really hard to argue:

YESSS! Me against the world album wasn't too shabby either

No Fences by Garth Brooks was not too shabby.

Not a big Country music fan, but loved Alabama growing up. Feels So Right was phenomenal.

Willie Nelson - Red Headed Stranger
Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía - Friday Night in San Francisco
Selena - Amor Prohibido

Dr. Dre The Chronic hands down. That album changed the game in terms of what was being released with Rap/Hip Hop back then. Every single song was awesome!

B.B. King - Live at the Regal
B.B. King & Eric Clapton - Riding With The King
Muddy Waters - I'm Ready

A Love Supreme - John Coltrane
Random Access Memories - Daft Punk
Super-Fly - Curtis Mayfield
Paul's Boutique - Beastie Boys

Jay-Z-Reasonable Doubt

I'll also add:

Chick Corea - My Spanish Heart
Miles Davis - ******* Brew
John Coltrane - Blue Train

I had no idea this site had a filter for the word *******.

Beastie Boys: Paul’s Boutique

My all-time favorite piece of music. While not my favorite violinist (nothing against Zukerman, a fantastic player), certainly my favorite recording of this piece.
