I don't think things like wasabi have a heat "index," per say. I believe that's correct, although I may be wrong.
JR....I'm speechless. I thought you might eat a section of the peper but not the WHOLE THING! Wow. I laughed multiple times after you ate it on the things you were saying. "It's now burning my stomach". Crazy dude....crazy.

i wonder if the DEA busts in on pepper growers that are indoor growing/hydroponic growing peppers for optimum results... and the DEA mistakenly thinks they are growing pot hahaha

JR you'll love this, it's chile season again, just went down to the chile Pepper institute Teaching garden to take a look, they have some sweet things this year.
There are hundreds of different species on the grounds, I just took a few pictures of the cool ones and the important ones-Scorpions, Jolokias, Chocolate habs etc, depending on what the postal service regulations are on sending chiles, you should get something later in the fall when I can pick some for you JR. If nothing, I'll get you some seeds.
