My first experience with golf was marked by a Callaway bertha 3w. My FIL and I had no idea how to play. He was recovering from a heart attack and stints being placed in his heart and wanted to do something to stay active. We found sets at a pawn shop and would go hit buckets of balls. That 3w stood out. We hit it for hours. As long as the drivers we were playing. I took a break from golf for a few years but when I came back, I found an old TM burner set and did okay with it. Then I discovered Callaway Preowned During a Black Friday sale. I traded in my older clubs and bought a X2 Hot driver, woods and irons. I fell in love! Still were the wrong lie and length but they played well.
Fast forward to joining THP and when seeing The Grandaddy for the first time with @Canadan and team going through golf euphoria and then snagging the belt. I wanted to be there. I wanted to experience this and the company that made it happen. After getting into the Grandaddy and meeting the people behind the equipment I love, it was a done deal. ChevLife
