Favorite Baseball Player Of All Time

The capital punisher.
Spent MANY great days in RFK with my Dad and my hapless Senators. View attachment 9028263View attachment 9028258View attachment 9028259View attachment 9028260View attachment 9028262
He still lives in the area and from what I’ve read is one of the nicest people you’ll meet.
Saw him play when Ted Williams was the manager. Del Unser was on that team. They were playing the Yankees when Bill Virdon was the manager and he had Bobby Bonds playing for him.

Growing up Ken Griffey Jr.

But for a while, when he was with the Brewers, Prince Fielder was a lot of fun to watch.

Long time Reds fan here. This guy was my favorite and way better shortstop than the overrated Ozzie Smith.

Larkin was good, very good, but I wouldn't say Ozzie is overrated in any category. Two different skill sets.

Ozzie: otherworldly defensively, league average hitter, low power
Barry: above average defense, better than average hitter
Both were plus-plus speed
There's a reason why Ozzie is still rated as they greatest ss by every measurable source.

Favorite:
Vintage player: Stan Musial
My youth: Ozzie Smith, Jose Canseco, Ricky Henderson, Nolan Ryan
Currently: Adam Wainwright, Nolan Arrenado, Javier Baez, Vlad Jr.
