845 Titanium $100 5-P, Taylormade Tour Preferred Blades of a Sr. Pro $200.....don't know why but he threw in his Tour TM Staff bag too, Callaway BB 1994's I think, $125, Callaway Diablos $200 then sold and got Callaway X18's $175 sold those got X-20's sold those, bought Srixon 545's, then got Cleveland CBX's for my AZ set sold both of those, now playing ZX4's and doubt that I will be buying another set ever again.

Wilson D-100 Irons - got me through a lot of 100+ scores.
Turned out to be a great set of Starter Irons.

First brand new set of irons I bought were the PXG 0211 DCs. Prior to that it had all been used sets or hand me downs. The set the PXGs replaced were a set of Ping Eye 2's that I got for $60. I thought I was getting robbed 15 yrs ago paying that much for them but I am betting they would at least sell for that now...

TaylorMade Burner 2.0. Terrible purchase and played them way to long. They just never really worked for me.

Spalding Executives...stiff shaft because I was a power hitter

1997 Top Flite Tour. That's when the brand was still respectable and not box set stuff like today. Still have them too.20220622_103130.jpg

Embarrassingly I still have the 4H from the first set I ever bought. Been playing for a little over 10 years and the Callaway xhot n14 set was my first

TM R7 draw.

These early GI cavity back irons from a little company called Palm Springs Golf, circa 1990. Set was 2-iron through PW, a good bit of offset, nice perimiter weighting for that era, but otherwise pretty compact by today's standards. These were in my bag for almost 20 years of off and on play.

Reminds me of an old set of Wilson Cavity backs I still have in storage back in MO.

PowerBuilt Citation irons - ancient era, next set was Nickent's Callaway X-14 knock offs, semi-modern era.

I think it was these 2009 Big Bertha irons

Apparently, some of you keep pictures of your old clubs like other people keep pictures of their families.

Nike VRS X.

My first set was used, so they don't count. My first new set was a set of Dunlop irons, somewhere around 1987'ish. They were cavity backs, but I don't remember what model they were.

My first set I bought new were original Nike irons. They might have been Ignite. Only reason I bought was because Tiger was sponsored by them. At the time I probably could not have named another OEM other than Wilson, I knew so little about golf at that time.

TaylorMade Burner 2.0 irons.

Now that my kid is big enough to play grown up clubs, I kinda wish I'd kept them.
