My course's practice area is decent. They have two putting/chipping greens, one with a bunker; a short game area with 6 or 7 flagsticks where you can hit wedges at targets up to about 60 yards from several different types of lies; a bunker on the side of the driving range with a small green and flagstick 10-15 yards away. They also recently installed 4 big nets/baskets on the driving range at about 50-75 yards (I haven't lasered them for yardage yet). It's all free to use for anybody - you just have to buy range balls if you're going to use the bunker or targets on the range (and members get a key tag which gives us 2 large buckets of range balls per day).
