Golf pants: belt or no belt?

Wear a belt for full length trousers / pants at work and leisure and sports ( golf ) also wear belt with shorts if they are cut an have hoops for belt. Also, as the belt covers over the pants button and zip etc , imagine if that broke the belt reinforces that )

I wear W29/30 pants. They stick to me rather nicely without a belt.
When rules demand that i tuck my shirt, i'll still wear a belt. Just looks better in my opinion.
