If Skill Wasn’t an Issue: Iron Edition

Of course, if I were that good, I would play what somebody would pay me to play.

Any blade with minimal stamping would be my choice.

The new Been Hogan Icon irons. Throwback look with modern technology.

Toss up between the Miura Baby Blades and Titleist 620 MB. The Titleist CNCPT CP-02 look pretty slick as well.

Since I started playing regularly about 4 years ago I always wanted a set of Miura's but not just any Miura's. In my mind I knew what I was looking for but couldn't point it out. It was one of those things where I would know when I saw it. Last year I finally found what I was looking and at a nice price. These irons have my attention. I really need some more views of them. I would love to see almost no offset, but that is a pipe dream.

Ping Blue Print

Id probably play a classic set of hickories. Louisville is great but Id love to go back in time and buy a brand new set that was made in the late 1800s or early 1900s in Scotland. Ive got neither the swing to play them well nor the knowhow to maintain them properly though.

I’ve been drooling over photos of the Mizuno MP-20 lately, so I’ll go with those.

tigers irons are about as sexy as i can think.

but i’ve always loved titleist cb irons as well.

Played them briefly and absolutely loved them when the swing was solid.

I would have to say Ping blueprints would be in my bag if I had the skill to play them. Love everything about them looks wise, I haven’t hit hit them but can only imagine how great they would feel

Love the look of these. I tried hitting them when I got fitted for my current irons. Nothing feels better than a well struck shot. And nothing feels worse when you miss the center.
