Compact and easy-to-fold, the M5 GPS DHC is the world's first compact caddy to offer fully‑integrated GPS built into a super-responsive 3.5” touchscreen display. Easily viewable no matter the weather, the screen can be easily controlled in all conditions – even while wearing a glove.

Power at your fingertips
Boasting 40,000 pre-loaded courses with distances to the front, middle and back of the green, plus hazards, the M5 GPS DHC offers the ability to move the flag position for more accurate shot preparation. Packed with features, the high-resolution touchscreen display also includes a Clock, Round timer and Score tracking, plus the par and stroke index of each hole, shot distance measurement, automatic hole advancement and a battery meter.

Smart Connectivity
The M5 GPS DHC can also be connected via Bluetooth to the free Motocaddy GPS app to offer a wide-range of smartphone notifications including missed calls, texts, emails and range of app alerts, including WhatsApp and Facebook. In another industry first, the caddy also offers built-in WiFi for super-fast Over‑the‑Air course and system updates.

Keep Control
Developed with our award-winning DHC technology, the caddy can also maintain a constant speed while moving down a gradient - thanks to a special single motor that offers downhill braking, coupled with an electronic parking brake. It also comes with specialised all-terrain DHC wheels.

Any idea of price point on this?

WOW! That's innovative! I hope THP staff gets some on course time with this thing! It does everything, but your taxes. Software UI will be key, but having the score tracking is awesome as well.

I liked that, the pace of play monitor (in timed rounds), and a bunch of others.
I use the MGI, but think I might have to make a switch here.

I love the innovation happening in the (non) push cart realm. While I'm still on my cliqgear, my wife has brought up finding an electric caddy to get me/us walking more. Love the tech innovations in golf (outside of just clubs)

I like these upgrades to current electric cart stuff available. Can't wait to hear about test results. Specifically turning with that fixed, small front wheel. I know that is where my alphard golf caddie wheels struggles.

Not a push cart guy let alone a motorized one but will admit this is pretty cool.

That is a much lower price than i was thinking while reading about it. I like there is no bottom bag strap to mess with but curious how that locks in.

I wondered the same thing and then found this on their website.

The world's easiest bag-connection system
The exclusive EASILOCK™ system – featured across all new Motocaddy caddies and cart bags – is designed to lock the bag onto the caddy and remove the need for a lower bag strap. Two holes on the caddy's bag support are aligned with two removable pins on the base of all new Motocaddy cart bags; ensuring golfers can lock their bag onto the caddy before using the upper bag strap to secure it completely.

I'm not convinced you didn't have input on the addition of that pace of play monitor. :ROFLMAO: In all seriousness, this looks like it should win some sort of "tech device of the year" title if there is such an award. I hope it performs as advertised.

Built in GPS is pretty freakin cool. That's a useful benefit that I'm surprised has taken this long to integrate!

Interesting. I'm not a cart walking guy myself, but this is pretty cool.

I disagree. I feel it’s considerably overpriced. Reading the post, it sounds like it’s a regular powered cart with a gps screen built in. Like the majority of power carts here, it’s about $500 over priced IMO.

I am digging this. Starting to put the push cart market into the range of modern electric riding carts as far as feature sets are concerned. The integration of the UI is pretty slick.

That being said, at 1399, isn't this priced more than the price of getting an existing motorized push cart + getting a GPS device mounted to the cart?

Motocaddy trolleys are very reliable and sturdy.

The DHC is definitely one to get unless you play dead flat courses.

The way Motocaddy sets up the pin system on the bottom of the (matching) bags is extremely slick and convenient.

But the whole GPS built into the handle thing is just silly.

I like it. It's cheaper than a cart plan, and with all the "tech" in it, it is rather affordable. If you were to get a set of eWheels, a cart, and a gps unit, you're about it the same price range. There are cheaper units out there, but this would be nice for someone wanting all that in one package.

The GPS in the handle is awesome! I wonder how many rounds you can go with a charge of the battery?

Looks like a slick unit!

I'm pretty sure it's powered off the same battery that propels the motor. Which of course you charge before every round. But you would not have to separately charge the GPS.

As someone that has been using an electric cart a bit, I kind of want one of these.

I would love an automated one that just followed you along. Being able to stroll along with having to carry or push a cart would be heavenly.
