I grew up with pannekoeken, Dutch pancakes almost like crepes. So pancakes for me.
 
dare I say... is that bacon in those pancake cones???
 
I love both, but I gotta say waffle. The crispiness adds another level above the pancake
 
waffles, Belgium style...all the way with some real Ohio Maple Syrup.
 
Pancakes are way better! I crave pancakes with warm fresh tapped maple syrup and crisp bacon
 
I like both, but if I have to choose, I'm going pancakes.

Pancakes - of the buckwheat variety. Rivals a good biscuit as a vehicle for carrying sausage gravy.

This is a tough one. I am a huge fan of the waffle, but there is something that is absolutely amazing about blueberry pancakes with local blueberries and maple syrup.
 
Pancakes, but this one was tough to decide. Tomorrow it may be waffles.
