I am newish here and live in Philadelphia. I have played Makefield, Scotland RUn, and I am looking for something new.

Has anyone played Riverwinds Recently and if so what condition is it in? A vareity of reviews online but most are dated.

Other recommendations that are close to Downtown?

Hey, nice forum name! Riverwinds is usually in ok shape, but is overpriced and crowded most of the time. It's a pretty good design, but needs a little more TLC. Jaws will likely turn things around and things are getting better though.

Welcome, when I lived in the Philly area we would play it 3 to 4 times a year. I would rate the condition 7/10 back in those days and I think that was more to do with the course growing in, they probably opened it too soon. Fun layout that you can score on, very generous fairways, big greens and trouble that is easy to avoid.
