These are all from yesterday at The Bog in Saukville, WI. It is a Arnold Palmer Signature Course. I know some of the tee boxes look rough, but only a few looked rough. They played great. Challenging greens. Good layout that presented fair options off the tee. Nothing real Micky Mouse or gimmicky. A fair amount of blind tee shots that make you trust your yardages and aim points. The doglegs offered "safe" and "hero" options. Nothing real long. Very playable. Plus, it's really affordable. Even in peak season. The fall colors are just starting, if you're into that sort of thing.

Looks like a great place Blu

This is Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Club in Lewiston, NY (near Niagara Falls). When it first opened it was ranked as one of the top new courses in the country. Right now it is ranked in the top 10 in New York state. I thought this would be a great place for a THP event.

Thanks for the pictures Andy. That is one of my favorite courses in Western New York and I miss having the chance to play there.. Next year I will need to make a special trip.

I play old home course, River Valley Ranch in Carbondale, CO. Was too nice of a day to not snap some shots.

Sorry, was too being playing poorly to take more pics.

This is the course my dad took me to in high school for my first round ever. It was in great shape today.

Perfect tee shot (driver) leads to a birdie (56° wedge)

Nice little downhill par 3:

Where exactly am I supposed to land my "draw" on this hole?

I think this is the toughest hole on the course:

10. 589 yard par 5. The back tee box was basically in the pro shop. It was a 270 yard carry with a 15 mpg head wind. Needless to say no one made it. My shot landed on the forward tee box, 250 yards away but still short of the fairway.

3. 556 yard par 5 with water all along the left. The theme of this course was long par 5's, they averaged over 570 yards.

Do they still have those carts that yell at you when you get to close to the greens and other sensitive areas?

Yes they do, they limit the speed in some stupid areas as well. I loved the custom leather seats though. They were so comfortable.

Someone threw marshmallows all over a few of the holes. It was a real PITA finding the ball in the fairway.

4th hole par 3 at Red Tail GC north of Orlando. Gorgeous course.

I was fortunate to play the Dye Preserve this past Friday morning courtesy of hbirdman80. Snapped a few photos of his home course, absolutely beautiful layout and a real enjoyment to play.

Took these over the weekend from the new home course! Nothing beats NE fall golf.

Played Otago Golf Club (Balmacewan) today with a good friend. I played off the blacks and he played from the blues. This hole is no.11 and is the signature hole. You hit from a massively elevated tee to a fairway that's not very wide, with a stream all down the left and thick bush all down the right. Once on the fairway you hit to the green which is tucked away in the trees and flanked by brutal bunkers. The green runs away from you which makes the approach shot pretty difficult. Anyway, here's a couple pictures from the tee and then another from my ball in the fairway.

I really need to get out there to play that course. That range alone looks gorgeous.

Yeah, the range is pretty awesome. Best I've seen. They keep the course pristine right up until they close and do a great job a getting the leaves off for the most part. There fall rates are a little high but not outrageous. If we're looking to try to get a WNY group out again once more it's an option.

Fall foliage is definitely out in NY.
