Post a picture of your day

Got back from a weekend trip to Iceland. Climbed an old volcano. Great views from the top.

We are back at our MN home for a few days before we return to FL and we have some lake ice pushing our shoreline a few feet closer to our house in spots. My neighbor tells me it‘s only happened once in the last 20 years. When conditions are just right(lots of wind when the ice is breaking up) these ice damns can get pushed into homes on some of the larger lakes, sometimes completely destroying the home. Luckily our lake hasn’t seen structures damaged in the last 30 years and the ice isn’t very thick after a mild winter so it should all be melted in 3-4 weeks. This is my first time seeing this trick from Mother Nature.

Without any damage this is pretty awesome.

yikes.
which lake are you on?

Gull Lake just north of Maddens resort near Brainerd.
my in-laws' place is a bit west of there in Park Rapids.
they used to get some ice heaves before they put in a rock shoreline but the wind doesn't have as much push by their place.

We normally don't get push from the wind in our channel, which is only 600 yards wide across from our house, but this has been a strange, warm MN winter and some of the thinnest lake ice in the last century.

Sitting at work. Been out here at the tournament since 10 with a few trips inside to deal with other issues. Not a bad day at work.

This was actually from Wednesday, but it was a nice sunrise at the golf course that morning.

We're water parking it this weekend and my daughter has worn out this slide....and the lifeguards ears probably (from screaming)...

What a beautiful February Day at the golf course. I’m so blessed to be able to play here!
