So our Hogan Experience officially starts at 1pm. J4U, Army and I are going to play 9 holes this morning with woods, wedges, putters and a shared 6 iron. Should be fun!

I decided to get up at the crack of dawn and head to Dallas, so I'm on my way now. I wanted to take my son to golf practice last night, plus it gave me a chance to get some range time in.

I went by the Driving range and they had some old Hogan APEX blades and CB's in the practice bin, lots of them floating around this area. And yes I am itching to head out, might be sitting there a bit early which is my MO anyway.

Swing weighting station. No single club moves to the next bench before being properly weighted. Hogan uses a pre-drilled bore in the bottom of the hosel to inject weighting material.

Loft and lie are being checked. Accurate to within a quarter of an inch and again every club gets checked individually before moving on.

Clubs are wiped clean and prepared for packaging.

Everyone in the facility knows golf clubs and knows how to do every aspect of the build. There's no mass production element here and no automated assembly line.
